Municipal Security Guard for Motala Municipality

Do you want to work in a varied and socially important security assignment where your contribution makes a concrete difference to people's sense of security?

Smart Bevakning Sverige AB has been entrusted with responsibility for Motala Municipality's security services. Ahead of the contract start date on September 1, 2026, we are now looking for engaged and professional security guards who want to help build a long-term assignment from the ground up.

About the Role

As a municipal security guard, you will become an important part of the municipality's safety and security work. You will primarily work from a dedicated municipal vehicle that is available for the municipality's operations 24/7, all year round.

• Preventive internal and external patrols of municipal properties and operations
• Dispatch and response to personal, assault, elevator, and burglary alarms
• Safety-enhancing measures and support to municipal staff
• Property on-call duty and simple emergency measures
• Locking, unlocking, and arming/disarming alarms
• Parking supervision on municipal land
• Inspection of doors, windows, gates, lighting, water leaks, and other anomalies
• Documentation of incidents and measures via text and images
• Ongoing contact with the municipality's security organization
• Updating instructions and certain administrative tasks

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and understands that they represent both Smart Bevakning and our client. You have a professional demeanor, high integrity, and a genuine interest in security, service, and people.

Requirements

• Completed security guard training (VU1 and VU2)
• Approved for work in an authorized security company
• Category B driver's license and good driving skills
• Good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Good computer skills and ability to work in digital systems
• Ability to document incidents clearly and correctly
• Availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
